6Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, to the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, to the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.
4 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in embryo I knew thee; and before thou wast born I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet to the nations.
6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7 But the LORD said to me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatever I command thee thou shalt speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
1:6Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I [am] a child.
1:6"Ah, Sovereign Lord ," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child."
1:6And I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! behold, I cannot speak; for I am a child.
1:6And I said: Ah, ah, ah, Lord God: behold, I cannot speak, for I am a child.
1:6Then said I, Ah, Lord Jehovah! behold, I know not how to speak; for I am a child.
1:6Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
1:6Then I said, |Ah, Lord Yahweh! Behold, I don't know how to speak; for I am a child.|
1:6And I say, 'Ah, Lord Jehovah! lo, I have not known — to speak, for I am a youth.'
1:6Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
