13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
14 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi;
16 And he said, Jehovah hath sworn: Jehovah will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
17:16For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn [that] the LORD [will have] war with Amalek from generation to generation.
17:16He said, "For hands were lifted up to the throne of the Lord . The Lord will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation."
17:16Because the hand of the throne of the Lord, and the war of the Lord shall be against Amalec, from generation to generation.
17:16And he said, For the hand is on the throne of Jah; Jehovah will have war with Amalek from generation to generation!

17:16and saith, 'Because a hand is on the throne of Jah, war is to Jehovah with Amalek from generation — generation.'
17:16For he said, Because the LORD has sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
