Verse of the Day

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

This passage captures the essence of Christ-like service, emphasizing actions that reflect God's love for the marginalized. It teaches us that service isn't just a duty but a privilege, where caring for others is akin to caring for Jesus Himself. It challenges us to see Christ in everyone we meet and serve them as if we were serving the Lord.

My Prayer...

Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessing of being able to serve You through serving others. Help me to see Your face in every person I encounter, especially the least of my brothers and sisters. Grant me a heart that loves unconditionally, hands ready to serve, and eyes that see the needs of those around me. May my actions reflect Your love and compassion, and through serving others, draw me closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
