11Samuel said to Jesse, |Are all your children here?| He said, |There remains yet the youngest, and behold, he is keeping the sheep.| Samuel said to Jesse, |Send and get him; for we will not sit down until he comes here.|

8 Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. He said, |Neither has Yahweh chosen this one.|
9 Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. He said, |Neither has Yahweh chosen this one.|
10 Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. Samuel said to Jesse, |Yahweh has not chosen these.|
11 Samuel said to Jesse, |Are all your children here?| He said, |There remains yet the youngest, and behold, he is keeping the sheep.| Samuel said to Jesse, |Send and get him; for we will not sit down until he comes here.|
12 He sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful face, and goodly to look on. Yahweh said, |Arise, anoint him; for this is he.|
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brothers: and the Spirit of Yahweh came mightily on David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
16:11So he asked Jesse, "Are these all the sons you have?" "There is still the youngest," Jesse answered, "but he is tending the sheep." Samuel said, "Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives."
16:11And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all [thy] children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.
16:11And Samuel said to Isai: Are here all thy sons? He answered: There remaineth yet a young one, who keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said to Isai: Send, and fetch him, for we will not sit down till he come hither.
