18For we wanted to come to you-- certainly I, Paul, did, again and again-- but Satan stopped us.
18For we wanted to come to you-- certainly I, Paul, did, again and again-- but Satan stopped us.
15 who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to all men
16 in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.

2:18For we would have come unto you, I Paul indeed, once and again: but Satan hath hindered us.
2:18because we would fain have come unto you, I Paul once and again; and Satan hindered us.
2:18wherefore we have desired to come to you, even I Paul, both once and twice, and Satan has hindered us.
2:18because we would fain have come unto you, I Paul once and again; and Satan hindered us.
2:18Wherefore we would have come to you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
2:18because we wanted to come to you—indeed, I, Paul, once and again—but Satan hindered us.
2:18wherefore we wished to come unto you, (I indeed Paul,) both once and again, and the Adversary did hinder us;
2:18Why we would have come to you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
